Paris - Strolling in Paris....

The Lover's Bridge over the Seine River:
Paris is known as the city of romance...Many lovers lock the padlocks onto the chain link fence and then toss the keys into the Seine river,  wishing for their eternal love.
We brought a lock here from home, also got it painted with our names on it.  There are also people selling new locks near the bridge, just that the locks cost more there.

We saw some combination locks attached to the bridge too, I guess in case if people change their mind...they could remove them at anytime....just in case...

This was our tour group from all over the world :)  The lady in purple was our tour guide.  She was/is an actress, so she was quite dramatic when she was telling us interesting stories about Paris.

We walked by many top attractions in Paris.
Our 4 hours tour included attractions:
  Notre Dame Cathedral (exterior)
  Latin Quarter
  Shakespeare and Company bookstore
  Tuileries Garden
  Louvre (outside)
  Pont Neuf
  Opera Garnier (from far)
  Palais Royale
  Place de la Concorde
  Conciergerie
  Eiffel Tower (from far)
  Musee d'Orsay
  Champs Elysees
  Grand and Petit Palais
  Hotel des Invalides (Napoleon's Tomb)

Most attractions were viewed from a distance though.  Again, good introduction on our first day in Paris.

The side streets and the Parisian cafes are my favourite :)

I didn't see any road rage in Paris,
seems like it should be chill and fun to ride around the city :)
